The Bay St. Bull's Second Annual POWER 50 Issue Launch (Photos)
Kicking off the start of summer, Toronto's most influential men and women made their way to the Drake One Fifty restaurant in the heart of the city's financial district to celebrate the Bay St. Bull's second annual POWER 50 issue launch. A collection of the fifty people, places, ideas and things that Canadians should know about, the POWER 50 guide was assembled by our editors to highlight some of our nation's biggest talents that are putting Canada on the map.

Guests in attendance came from a variety of different industries — from finance and fashion to tech and sports — and created new business relationships with each other as they snacked on items from the Drake One Fifty kitchen, which included margherita pizzas, fried chicken lettuce wraps, chilled shrimps and more. As drinks from Ace Hill Beer, Chateau de Charmes and Olmeca Altos tequila were sipped on, attendees were able to walk through the restaurant and admire watches from Hublot, Audemars Piguet, Rolex, A. Lange & Söhne and IWC from Bloor street's finest purveyors of luxury timepieces, Royal de Versailles. Elsewhere, Samsung Canada entertained guests by immersing them in a virtual reality experience by way of their Gear VR devices. Towards the end of the evening, the packed-house was treated to the night's main event: a Q&A between Toronto Raptors General Manager, Masai Ujiri, and publisher, David King. Audience members were able to gain insight and get to know the Toronto legend as he spoke about Toronto's loyal fans, the Raptors, NBA drafts and his charity, Giants of Africa. Thanks in addition to event partner, Sotheby's International Realty Canada, the night was an incredible success.
