Canada celebrates fashion's biggest night
Honouring new faces and industry veterans, the country's most stylish men and women descended upon the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto for the industry's biggest night in fashion, the Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards (CAFA). Hosted by television personality Jessi Cruickshank, notable guests included Calgary native and The Business of Fashion founder, Imran Amed, as well as designer Jason Wu and style icon, Iris Apfel. "We are truly honoured to have the opportunity to recognize and celebrate Canadian talent that have made a significant creative, social and philanthropic impact on both the industry and on culture," said CAFA President, Vicky Milner. Other memorable guests included designers Erdem Moralioglu and Sid Neigum, SSENSE co-founder and CEO Rami Atallah, filmmaker Caitlin Cronenberg and actress Sarah Gadon.
