Where to Take Your Clients: Kasa Moto
Name: Kasa Moto
Where: 115 Yorkville Ave., Toronto, ON
What: Restaurant, Japanese
The Chase Hospitality Group continues to build their empire in the Toronto food scene with their newest ode to Japanese cuisine, Kasa Moto. Located in the heart of Yorkville, think of the sprawling 12,000-square-foot space as an oasis in the concrete jungle, complete with Japanese-inspired elements, a 180-person patio, hand-painted murals and exceptional food. Led by chefs Daisuke Izutsu, Tsuyoshi Yoshinaga and Michael Parubocki, the dishes are elegant, yet unpretentious. Here, you’ll find a mix of traditional and contemporary Japanese fare in each of the restaurant’s four sections (dining room, rooftop patio, terrace, bar). Sushi and sashimi are, of course, on the menu. But if you’re looking for something outside of that, go for the Hamachi ponzu, chirashi or whole grilled sea bass. Better yet, stop by for brunch and try their wagyu steak and eggs or breakfast bento.
