Cocktail of the Week: Goose Island 312 Cocktail
Written by Ross Dias
This recipe has to be prefaced with a simple but glaring fact: the Goose Island 312 Urban Wheat Ale is not available for purchase in Canada. That said, having personally sampled this concoction at an event hosted at Chef Victor Barry's latest, Café Cancan, it would be remiss not to suggest picking up a bottle or two, the next time you find yourself in the Windy City, Goose Island's hometown.
Here's how to make the Goose Island 312 Cocktail at home.
.75 oz beefeater Gin
.75 oz briottet pamplemouse
.5 oz lemon juice
5 drops Black pepper tincture
Shake all the ingredients together in a shaker, and strain them into a glass. Pour the 312 over the mixture and garnish with a few sprigs of rosemary and some lemon zest.
