April 26, 2017 — On a bright spring evening, with not a cloud in sight, the Thompson Hotel Toronto played host to Bay Street Bull's Spring 2017 #BSB30X30 issue launch party. Bringing together a diverse group of leaders, innovators, artists, executives and more from a variety of industries, the night was a celebration of the magazine's national expansion and new look, as well as the community's brightest talents.
Upon entering, guests were treated to hors d'oeuvres from the Thompson Hotel Toronto kitchen, including jerk plantain chips, smoked encrusted venison with chestnut puree, beet and goat salad, and chocolate-covered strawberries. With clear skies and beautiful temperatures for the evening, what better a way to kick off the start of spring than a sprawling patio and refreshments? As attendees mingled and networked, they sipped on cocktails made exclusively in collaboration with Remy Martin VSOP and The Botanist Gin.
A front-line mandate, Bay Street Bull aims to bring different communities together to foster new relationships and facilitate opportunities for cross-industry collaboration. Toasting to the magazine's inaugural #BSB30X30 guide, members of the business, technology, fashion, architecture, sports, media and real estate industries all interacted with each other, some with a cold Peroni beer in hand and others with a glass of wine from Noble Estates, while they flipped through the new issue in-between conversations.
As the evening carried on, guests left the launch party with new and old friends, exiting with a bag carrying complementary gifts from Polo Ralph Lauren, Ex Nihilo and Revlon. All in all, a successful evening spent with great company and new memories.
